Adjunct Faculty Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Adjunct Faculty Support to join our team at the College of DuPage. This is a full-time position that will provide service and support for Adjunct Faculty in various divisions, including Business & Technology, Health & Sciences, Liberal Arts, Continuing Education & Extended Learning, Learning Resources, and Student Affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the scheduling of observations of Adjunct Faculty and conduct observations in traditional classroom, hybrid, and online formats.
- Provide written and in-person feedback to Adjunct Faculty members following classroom observations.
- Schedule and maintain student evaluations of Adjunct Faculty in collaboration with all divisions and the Office of Information Technology.
- Prepare, manage, track, and collect data generated from observations, orientations, student evaluations, and professional development of Adjunct Faculty for distribution to Adjunct Faculty members and their Deans.
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Adjunct Faculty Support to conduct a quality orientation program for new Adjunct Faculty using multiple delivery modes.
- Coordinate the delivery of professional development programs tailored to the needs, interests, and schedules of Adjunct Faculty in consultation with the Associate Dean of Adjunct Faculty Support, the Teaching & Learning Center, and other units of the College.
- Develop metrics and measures of quality instruction to provide support to Adjunct Faculty in their roles as instructional professionals.
- Provide managerial support for implementing a systematic, effective, and efficient approach for evaluating the performance of Adjunct Faculty, including timely and meaningful feedback to Deans, Coordinators, Program Specialists, and individual Adjunct Faculty members.
- Serve on College committees and attend meetings of the Academic Administrators as requested.
- Master's degree in education or an academic discipline offered by the College is required.
- College-level teaching experience is required, and supervisory/managerial experience is preferred.
This position requires the use of standard office equipment, including computers, and involves primarily indoor and sedentary work. Evening hours and occasional travel to Regional Centers and other COD locations may be required.
