Adjunct Faculty, Hospitality

College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Hospitality courses. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver instruction in Hospitality courses
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training, and tested experience
  • Experience in front-of-the-house service preferred
  • Manager's Sanitation License required

Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology, including a home computer with the ability to teach online, is required. These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre-employment background check at the College's expense is required.
