Adjunct Faculty Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Adjunct Faculty Support to join our team at the College of DuPage. This is a full-time, grant-funded position that will provide service and support for Adjunct Faculty teaching in Career and Technical Education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the scheduling of observations of Adjunct Faculty and conduct observations in traditional classroom, hybrid, and online formats.
- Provide written and in-person feedback to Adjunct Faculty members following classroom observations.
- Schedule and maintain student evaluations of Adjunct Faculty in collaboration with all divisions and the Office of Information Technology.
- Support Career and Technical Education Faculty recruitment, retention, and transitions, and develop a CTE Talent Management Guide.
- Prepare, manage, track, collect, and report results of data generated from observations, orientations, student evaluations, and professional development of Adjunct Faculty for distribution to Adjunct Faculty members and their Deans.
- Conduct a quality orientation program for all new Adjunct Faculty in Career and Technical Education programs, with an emphasis on transitioning from industry to teaching at the college.
- Coordinate the delivery of professional development programs tailored to the professional needs, interests, and schedules of CTE Adjunct Faculty in consultation with the Associate/Assistant Dean of Adjunct Faculty Support, the Teaching & Learning Center, and other units of the College.
- Continue to develop metrics and measures of quality instruction as a means of providing support to Adjunct Faculty in their roles as instructional professionals.
- Provide managerial support for implementing a systematic, effective, and efficient approach for evaluating the performance of CTE Adjunct Faculty, including timely and meaningful feedback to the appropriate Deans, Chairs, Coordinators, and Program Specialists, as well as to the individual Adjunct Faculty member.
- Serve on College committees and attend meetings of the Academic Administrators as requested.
- Master's degree in education or an academic discipline offered by the College is required.
- College-level teaching experience is required.
- Supervisory/managerial experience is preferred.
This position requires the use of standard office equipment, including computers, and is primarily indoor and sedentary in nature. Evening hours and occasional travel to Regional Centers and other COD locations may be required.
