Crisis Intervention Specialist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our Behavioral Health Department in Vancouver, Washington. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, working closely with our team to ensure timely and effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals referred to our Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention (AMCI) team through the Southwest Washington Crisis line, 911, or CRESA.
- Collaborate with our Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) to assess, develop, and implement crisis plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in crisis.
- Conduct outreach, assessment, referral, and follow-up services, working closely with natural supports, community partners, service providers, housing providers, and other community organizations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of crisis services in EPIC, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and contracts.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures as directed by the Program Director, ensuring compliance with WACs, RCWs, and other pertinent laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or Associate's degree with two years of experience in mental health or a related field.
- Current TB test and CPR certification within 90 days of hire date.
- Annual influenza (flu) vaccine required, with exceptions for medical or religious exemptions.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
