Sexual Assault Advocacy Specialist

YWCA Clark County is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Sexual Assault Advocacy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide critical support to survivors of sexual assault, working closely with law enforcement, medical professionals, and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and trauma-informed response.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct services to survivors of sexual assault, including crisis intervention, advocacy, and support.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, medical professionals, and community partners to ensure a coordinated response to sexual assault cases.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance services and support for survivors.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in trauma-informed care and sexual assault response.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that support survivors of sexual assault.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
- Experience working with survivors of sexual assault or trauma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
