Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate (Dependent on Experience), 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This role provides a hybrid work option following a successful probationary period.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision and with moderate complexity, this role is tasked with the research, development, and execution of effective recruitment and staffing strategies aimed at attracting a diverse array of qualified candidates for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, implement, and manage all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Identify and apply recruitment strategies and methods, assessing current and potential markets based on job specifications, industry benchmarks, best practices, and organizational needs.
  • Advertise job openings to enhance the organization’s branding and bolster online recruitment visibility.
  • Oversee incoming applications via job boards and the organization’s employment portal, maintaining communication with candidates.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for applicants, ensuring exceptional candidate experience and effective pre-screening prior to the recruitment process.
  • Prepare candidate review packets for hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure interview questions and selection materials are current.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and competency assessments.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify educational credentials.
  • Work with hiring managers and selected candidates to facilitate job offers.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies regarding recruitment processes.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Stay informed on current and emerging recruitment trends to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, or a related field, along with two years of recruitment experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite including Adobe Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express.
  • Knowledge in Marketing and Advertising.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimal travel required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical Activity: Frequent sitting, talking, listening, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, finger use, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion. Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling.

Physical Exertion: Sedentary; Light; Medium; Heavy; Very Heavy. Involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Requirements: Close visual acuity for compiling and analyzing data; viewing a computer screen; and reading.

Working Conditions: Not significantly exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
