Job Overview

Gordon Feinblatt LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Business Law Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving legal practice and work alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Creating binders as needed.
  • Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Filing and Recordkeeping: Handle filing of court documents with state and federal court, while maintaining organized electronic case files. Opening and closing matters.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain positive client relationships by providing timely updates and addressing inquiries professionally.
  • Mail: Handle and disseminate incoming mail and emails.
  • Time Entry: Enter attorneys billable time in our time entry system.
  • Support: Additional support responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of court and filing procedures.
  • Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate, and transactional matters is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal software.
  • A strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and multitasking skills are crucial.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Initiative-taking mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
