Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Land Surveyor to join our team as a Senior Land Surveyor Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising surveying field crews and staff, overseeing the preparation of land development surveys, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage surveying field crews and staff to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee the preparation of land development surveys, including ALTA, boundary, topographic, and utility surveys.
  • Develop and implement surveying procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.

Requirements

  • College degree in Surveying or Engineering.
  • 8 years of experience in surveying, preferably in DOT/Roadway or Land Development Surveying.
  • 5 years of experience in survey management.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) certification in Alabama and Tennessee.
  • Desirable: PLS/RLS certification in Louisiana and other Southeastern states.
