Job Title: Senior Sales Representative

At Gulf Distributing Holdings Company LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing the Sales team within assigned territories. This role will assist in day-to-day operations and sales routes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with and coach/train all new Salespeople to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  2. Conduct scheduled work withs to continue the growth of the Sales team and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Assist in the deployment of Point-of-Sale systems and ensure they are properly utilized in all accounts.
  4. Provide feedback to employees to assist in their overall growth and development.
  5. Provide feedback to Management regarding training progress for all routes and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Sell and cover open Sales routes to ensure maximum sales potential.
  7. Properly merchandise and sell all accounts to meet Gulf Distributing standards.
  8. Lead, attend, and conduct store resets throughout the year, all classes of trade.
  9. Work with Management to continue learning all aspects of the business and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Be aware of opportunities to grow sales in all accounts and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Ensure Point of Sale is properly utilized in all accounts and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Adhere to GDH company policies and always act in a professional manner.
  13. Maintain positive working relationships with personnel in all accounts and Gulf Distributing.
  14. Report all accidents to immediate supervisor, immediately.
  15. Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years of sales experience preferred.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations.

3. Demonstrated organizational skills.

4. Ability to work around the schedule set forth by the demand of the business.

5. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

6. Strong time management skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

1. Constantly required to walk and talk and hear.

2. Frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

3. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

4. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment and fumes or airborne particles.

5. Frequently travel throughout the GDH sites.

6. Frequently weekend and/or overtime work, primarily at start-up or when taking on new business.
