Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate food products to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Uphold company policies and procedures related to food safety and quality
  • Supervise daily food production operations and ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded
  • Implement and support company policies and programs as communicated by management
  • Perform specialty projects as assigned by the Executive Chef
  • Undertake responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum of fine dining experience
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills
  • Dependable and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • ServSafe Certified preferred

Working Conditions

  • Physical activity including long periods of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
  • Regularly required to reach with arms and hands
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 30lbs
  • Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment, and clean food service areas
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Noise level is typically moderate to loud
