Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our Culinary team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. This individual must have a strong background in high-volume professional kitchens and a degree in Culinary Arts. The ideal candidate will be a creative and motivated leader who can inspire and support their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing daily food production, preparation, and presentation.
  • Manage the culinary team, including attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent.
  • Act as the Executive Chef's representative in their absence, completing daily ordering and overseeing kitchen operations.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead daily team meetings, ensuring preparation and communication of key information.
  • Attend weekly F&B meetings, BEO meetings, leadership meetings, and monthly safety meetings.
  • Manage department finances, analyzing and controlling costs to achieve a profitable operation.
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus and special menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in high-volume professional kitchens.
  • College degree in Culinary Arts.
  • Proven track record of creative menu development and execution.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
