Position Summary: The People Operations Business Partner plays a crucial role in delivering HR support and guidance to designated business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees utilizing an automated HR Operating System.
  • Address HR inquiries from leadership and staff in a timely manner.
  • Clarify policies for management and team members.
  • Work closely with business leaders to provide insights on workforce-related issues, aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives to enhance effectiveness.
  • Act as a consultant, offering coaching to leaders and employees regarding policies, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Empower leadership to manage personnel matters with confidence.
  • Investigate employee relations issues, identify concerns, and recommend suitable actions that maintain consistency across all entities.
  • Lead change management initiatives, demonstrating the ability to influence leaders towards desired outcomes while applying best practices in employment law, compliance, workforce planning, succession, engagement, total rewards, and compensation.
  • Independently design, implement, and manage human resources operational initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure adherence to labor regulations.
  • Conduct new hire orientations, explaining benefits and the enrollment process.
  • Serve as a global expert for a designated human resources program across all companies.
  • Oversee and manage employee performance evaluations.
  • Maintain electronic employee records and files.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience as a human resources generalist or relevant experience in the legal field with knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with various computer operating systems.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative and productive working relationships.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, capable of managing projects amidst ambiguity and change.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated accountability, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and de-escalate issues effectively.
  • Exemplify professional standards, emotional intelligence, and integrity for others to emulate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five years of experience as an HRBP, HR Generalist, or HR Manager preferred.
