HR Information Systems Specialist

Midatlantic Employers' Association is in search of an HR Information Systems Specialist to enhance our dynamic workforce. The successful candidate will be proactive, team-oriented, and skilled in fostering commitment towards collective goals. A solid background in core HR functions, exceptional project management capabilities, and a passion for developing and executing policies and procedures are essential.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. The candidate must be available to work onsite periodically.

Key Responsibilities:

· Management of HR Processes: Design, implement, and supervise HR policies and procedures, covering areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding.

· HR Information Systems (HRIS): Administer and enhance HRIS for effective data management, reporting, and analysis. Ensure the integrity and security of data.

· Training and Development: Organize and facilitate employee training and development initiatives. Identify skill gaps and formulate development strategies.

· Performance Management: Establish and oversee performance appraisal frameworks. Provide insights on performance enhancement and career progression.

· HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and produce reports to guide decision-making. Analyze trends and deliver insights to senior leadership.

· Budget Oversight: Manage the HR budget, including expenditures related to recruitment, training, and employee benefits.

· Leadership of HR Team: Mentor and guide HR team members. Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in HR operations, including cross-functional HR project management. Proven track record in developing, refining, and executing HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Capable of engaging effectively with employees across all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in addressing complex and sensitive HR matters.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities. Skilled in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Expertise in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office Suite. Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to build relationships. High levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, especially in compliance and data management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to evolving organizational needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
