About the Role

Framatome is seeking a highly skilled Corrective Action Program Specialist to join our team in Richland, WA. As a key member of our Fuel Business Unit, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of our US Fuel Corrective Action Program (CAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of Framatome's US Fuel Corrective Action Program (CAP)
  • Continually monitor the health of the program, performing reviews, analysis, evaluation, and trending of CAP data, and reporting results to leadership
  • Implement and test CAP software tool process improvements to ensure program and processes are aligned and properly executed
  • Maintain CAP related procedures and provide training to organization
  • Perform and/or review Issue Investigation Causal Analyses, to ensure implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Support organization in the performance of internal, external and supplier audits and surveillances
  • Routinely interface with customers, both internal and external to Framatome to develop processes, solve issues and improve performance
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or other nuclear industry regulations affecting CAP
  • Assist design engineers in the development and completion of commercial grade dedications plans

Requirements:

  • BS plus a minimum of 4 years of nuclear quality assurance experience or AS plus a minimum of 6 years of nuclear quality assurance experience or HS plus a minimum of 8 years of nuclear quality assurance experience
  • Advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments
  • Strong organizational, leadership, verbal communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in computer operations, data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Devonway iCAP or other CAP software tool
  • Engineering and/or Quality Assurance experience
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from internal customers, external auditors and manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
  • Good to excellent knowledge and experience of Nuclear Quality Assurance requirements
