Training and Development Specialist

The Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for production employees at Siemens Energy. This role focuses on enhancing employee skills, ensuring quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement through Kaizen events and 5S coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing production employees.
Create training materials, manuals, and documentation to support learning objectives.
Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Quality Review and Retraining
Monitor and review quality issues reported in the production process.
Analyze root causes of quality defects and implement corrective actions.
Provide targeted retraining to employees to address specific quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
Kaizen Events and 5S Coordination
Plan, organize, and lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
Track and report on the outcomes of Kaizen events, ensuring sustained improvements.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of training activities, employee progress, and quality improvement efforts.
Prepare and present reports on training effectiveness, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years' experience in manufacturing and/or Training environment required.
Strong knowledge of quality control processes, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software.
