About the Role

The Pool Supervisor is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills. As a Pool Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of the pool and other supported areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that service procedures and standards are being executed by all pool staff
  • Supervise the consistency of quality of food and efficiency of service
  • Interview and select job applicants, supervise, discipline, and give performance evaluations for pool employees
  • Schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines
  • Work closely with Engineering to maintain proper water quality and mechanical operation of the swimming and whirl pools
  • Order supplies, including bathing suits, toiletries, and other amenities to ensure the Poolside par level allows for smooth operation
  • Coordinate personal training with outside contractors to guarantee a high level of service and adequate availability
  • Oversee the cleanliness and equipment operations of the fitness area, pool deck, patio terrace, and bartenders and cabana area, ensuring their conditions are in accordance with health department regulations
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Utilize all computer systems relevant to departments and maintain communication between staff members and managers
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes, as well as ways to increase sales and service
  • Assume duties of the Assistant Manager when they are off/vacation
Requirements
  • High reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage
  • College degree or equivalent preferred

Schedule & Hours

This is a full-time position. Candidate must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
