Position Overview:

In the era of digital transformation, organizations must adeptly manage their data to thrive. As a Data Architect, you will leverage your analytical skills and innovative thinking to assist organizations in optimizing their data resources. We are seeking a data architect who can tackle intricate challenges and provide state-of-the-art solutions for our clients.

Your Role:

As a data architect within our team, you will utilize your profound technical knowledge to spearhead the development of data architecture solutions tailored for cloud environments, managed services, and service-oriented frameworks. You will collaborate with business analysts and technology teams to address routine data architecture challenges, guiding project teams in making informed decisions regarding future data architecture advancements while assessing business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, define, and document current and target architectural features, along with transformation roadmaps.
  • Provide a strategic vision for the evolution of the data ecosystem.
  • Conduct comparative studies to evaluate alternative design solutions as necessary.
  • Act as a problem solver and subject matter expert across various programs and opportunities.
  • Deliver technical resources, industry-standard methodologies, and proven techniques to guide data solutions.
  • Recommend data solutions for complex client challenges, employing Agile, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Management expertise.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in managing programs related to Data Platforms, Engineering, Data Science, Enterprise Analytics, and Solution Architecture.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams in engineering, architecture, cyber, analytics, and AI/ML.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex software and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems architecture, enterprise applications, Big Data storage solutions, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile and test-driven methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Army Data programs and capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, including web frameworks and mobile concepts.
  • Experience in fostering strategic partnerships with government, academic, and industry entities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possession of a Master's degree and PMP Certification is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
