Your Role:

As a Data Architect within our team, you will utilize your extensive technical knowledge to spearhead the design of data architecture solutions tailored for cloud environments, managed services, and service-oriented frameworks. You will collaborate with business analysts and technology teams to address routine data architecture challenges, guiding project teams in making informed decisions regarding future data architecture advancements while assessing business requirements related to data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, define, and document current design features, target architectures, and transformational strategies.
  • Provide a visionary outlook on the evolution of the data ecosystem.
  • Conduct comparative analyses to evaluate alternative design solutions as necessary.
  • Act as a problem solver and subject matter expert across various programs and opportunities.
  • Recommend data solutions for complex client challenges, applying expertise in Agile methodologies, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Management.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in planning, directing, and managing programs related to Data Platforms, Engineering, Data Science, and Solution Architecture.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams in engineering, architecture, cyber, analytics, and AI/ML.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing production software and complex system integrations.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems architecture, enterprise applications, Big Data storage solutions, and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and test-driven methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Army Data programs and capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, including web frameworks and mobile concepts.
  • Experience in developing strategic partnerships with government, academic, and industry entities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Possession of a Master's degree and PMP Certification is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
