  • Lead a solution team, effectively communicating client needs and outlining technical strategies for successful execution.
  • Evaluate the maturity of capture and proposal engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with the capture team to create a roadmap for enhancements based on industry best practices, including Cloud Architecture, CI/CD, Test Automation, and Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are consistent with customer functional, security, and technological standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in a technical domain, including software development and modernization projects, with a focus on advanced technologies such as cloud computing and automation.
  • At least 8 years of experience in architecting robust, high-availability systems for critical missions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, integrating diverse technologies into unified technical solutions.
  • 5 years of experience in creating and delivering complex presentations that effectively communicate solutions to client challenges.
  • 5 years of experience in supporting technology implementations within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior client stakeholders, providing technical leadership and innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional client service.
  • Familiarity with the VA healthcare sector, including IT product impacts, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and security protocols.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex technical proposals for federal opportunities in the VA health sector.
  • Expertise in establishing modernization frameworks using integrated DevSecOps toolchains and test-driven development.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies at scale across multiple product-focused teams.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience in integrating SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Cloud Architecture, Software Development, SAFe, ITIL, or DevSecOps.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
