Job Title: Leasing Agent

At Jamison Management Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, providing exceptional customer service and a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare property descriptions and post property listings online.
  • Review traffic reports and provide weekly updates on activity for any listings.
  • Follow up with prospective renters.
  • Stay current on the local leasing market by performing market surveys and visiting competitive properties.
  • Ensure homes/apartments are ready for show, physically inspecting property to ensure it best represents the community standards prior to each leasing day.
  • Prepare lease forms and agreements, collect security deposit and first month's rent.
  • Perform move-in inspections with new tenants.
  • Meet with prospective clients to view their property and provide professional opinions on rental potential.
  • Prepare service issues for any work needed at the property prior to leasing.
  • Take pictures for all listings.
Requirements:
  • Industry experience with a proven track record of high closing ratio, or related experience.
  • Strong sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player & works well independently.
  • Proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. Some property management software experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and social security card, demonstrating eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Compensation:

Starting compensation is $15-$18/hour plus leasing bonuses.
