Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to enhance our services at Catholic Health Initiatives. Our organization is renowned for its commitment to excellence in healthcare, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience, and transplant services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic assessments in Peripheral Vascular Imaging.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Support patient evaluations, interpret physician orders, and deliver educational guidance to patients.
  • Gather patient medical histories, perform necessary physical evaluations, and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
  • Execute diagnostic tests, document results meticulously, and maintain communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities, ongoing training, and educational opportunities for both personal and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant health discipline with specialized training in cardiac ultrasound, or a one-year certificate.
  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as RVT or RDCS, or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Compensation: $44.30 per hour
