Medical Imaging Specialist - US Army Enlistment Required
Join the United States Army as a certified Medical Imaging Specialist, where you will be responsible for operating X-ray and related imaging equipment essential for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

This position is exclusive to those enlisting in the Army and is not available as a civilian contractor role. No prior experience is needed, making this an ideal entry-level opportunity. The duration of training for certification may range from 2 to 6 years, depending on the specific role chosen. Candidates will have the flexibility to select their terms of service before signing a contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct body section radiography and various examinations including prenatal, pediatric, urogenital, and assessments of the digestive, respiratory, vascular, and nervous systems.
- Operate both fixed and portable imaging equipment.
- Prepare, assemble, and calibrate instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.

TRAINING:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training.
- 46 weeks of Technical School complemented by on-the-job training.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must meet physical standards based on age and gender.
- Successful completion of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is required.
