Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic assessments in Peripheral Vascular Imaging.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of infection control.
  • Support patient evaluations, interpret physician directives, and educate patients regarding procedures.
  • Gather patient medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and position patients appropriately for imaging.
  • Execute diagnostic imaging, accurately document results, and liaise with healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities, stay updated on new techniques, and assist in training programs for students.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant health discipline with specialized training in cardiac ultrasound, or a one-year certificate.
  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as RVT or RDCS, or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Compensation: $44.30 per hour
