Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Vascular Imaging Specialist I to contribute to our mission at Catholic Health Initiatives. Our organization is renowned for its commitment to exceptional healthcare services, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular health, neuroscience, and transplantation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic assessments in Peripheral Vascular Imaging.
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of infection control.
- Support patient evaluations, interpret physician directives, and educate patients regarding procedures.
- Gather patient medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and position patients appropriately for imaging.
- Execute diagnostic imaging, accurately document results, and liaise with healthcare professionals.
- Engage in quality assurance activities, stay updated on new techniques, and assist in training programs for students.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a relevant health discipline with specialized training in cardiac ultrasound, or a one-year certificate.
- Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as RVT or RDCS, or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS.
- No prior experience is necessary.
Compensation: $44.30 per hour
