Responsibilities
">- You'll assist with setting up banquet rooms and event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications.
- You'll ensure all necessary equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged, and audiovisual equipment and lighting are set up and operational.
- You'll greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their assigned tables, and provide assistance with seating as needed.
- You'll take food and beverage orders from guests using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
- You'll serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
- You'll anticipate guests' needs and preferences, providing personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
- You'll respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- You'll clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event to ensure a clean and orderly dining environment.
- You'll assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including removing linens, folding chairs, and dismantling decorations.
Requirements and Qualifications
">- Previous serving and/or setup experience is preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state law.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure under pressure.
