Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our Public Storage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their storage needs are met, and maintaining a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions to meet their storage needs.
  • Storage Unit Management: Conduct daily storage unit inspections, confirm inventory, and ensure spaces are ready to rent.
  • Cash Handling: Audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spend up to 50% of time in outdoor environments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience in a sales environment, such as retail, restaurant, or fast food.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between work locations and conducting work-related business.
