The Client Relations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and effective customer interactions within the bank. This position is dedicated to accurately handling all customer transactions in line with established protocols while delivering exceptional service. The associate contributes to the branch's overall sales and service objectives by supporting initiatives that align with the bank's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily banking operations utilizing the Teller Cash Recycler (TCR), including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and maintaining ATMs.
  • Promote and enhance bank offerings by addressing customer inquiries, informing them of new services and promotions, assessing their needs, and referring them to appropriate platforms.
  • Manage logs and process transactions related to mail, night drops, and ATMs.
  • Document transactions involving Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and other specialized services.
  • Prepare and submit reports regarding counterfeit currency and suspicious activities.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational integrity on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Balance cash drawers and branch accounts by verifying cash transactions and electronic records against end-of-day totals, and preparing currency for shipment.
  • Reconcile check transactions and ensure daily batch deposits are completed before finalizing branch proofs.
  • Adhere to operational and security protocols by executing dual-control functions and participating in security meetings.
  • Provide assistance to fellow branch staff as needed.
  • Be flexible with work hours, including weekends, and be prepared to assist at other branches when required.
  • All personnel must comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and report any suspicious activities encountered during their duties.

Experience
  • Preferred experience in cash handling.
  • Basic proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales is advantageous.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
