About the Role

Catalyx North America is seeking an experienced Automation Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. As a trusted partner in delivering world-class lifecycle services to regulated and high-risk end markets, we partner with life science and other highly regulated organizations to empower them to enhance efficiency and drive success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and optimize Automation systems for life sciences industry clients
  • Design and implement PLC programming (Allen Bradley), Keyence Laser Programming, and FT View SE programming
  • Retrofit hardware and program Cognex camera and Insight software
  • Develop and implement new recipe fields for expiry date and database table updates
  • Utilize auxiliary artwork function in existing PLC to mark UDI
  • Feed UDI data into Keyence laser software and mark housing
  • Update PLC to present UDI to inspection camera
  • Implement communication between PLC, Camera, and SQL Database Express on PC
  • Update SQL Database Express to include new columns in lot data
  • Develop and update documentation with automation design information
Requirements
  • 6+ years hands-on experience in life sciences industry integrating and optimizing Automation systems
  • Extensive experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley), Keyence Laser Programming, and FT View SE programming
  • Strong understanding of Automation systems and integration
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
