Maintenance Automation Specialist

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Maintenance Automation Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Automation Specialist to support our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment, including pneumatic and electrical systems
- Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Utilize computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems
- Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Restraint, and Forklift/MHE Operational Safety
- Participate in the development and improvement of maintenance policies and procedures
- Ensure a clean and organized maintenance area
Requirements:
- Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment
- Intermediate knowledge of PLC and HMI programming software, including Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting Servo and Stepper motors
- Knowledge of operating MHE, including Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift
