Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing logistics and supply chain activities effectively.

  • Oversee daily customer and service engineer return processes across North and South America.
  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of products from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
  • Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to appropriate storage locations.
  • Organize and categorize materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins based on product or supplier type.
  • Prepare and ship customer orders from inventory, ensuring proper packing and labeling.
  • Handle the processing of returned service items and customer returns to European repair centers.
  • Generate necessary documentation for shipments, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
  • Monitor customer support and field service commitments to meet customer expectations.
  • Act as a resource for production planning and volume assessments within the Sales and Service team.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational plans and procedures.
  • Participate in the daily maintenance and safety protocols of the logistics and warehouse areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and local requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution environment, specifically with instruments and consumables.
  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with shipment processing using FedEx Ship Manager and DHL.
  • Familiarity with HTS, US Customs Regulations, EAR, ITAR, and Incoterms 2010.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams), SAP, and logistics compliance tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously with all stakeholders.
  • Prior safety training with a proven record of adhering to safety standards and practices.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in business practices.
  • Ability to provide timely and efficient customer service.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Capacity to meet position training requirements.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and manage equipment exceeding 300 lbs.
  • Capability to maneuver large items and perform manual tasks in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is mandatory.
  • May need to pass a security clearance investigation.
