Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Certified to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians, including medical gas administration and aerosol therapy.
  • Obtain and analyze blood specimens, perform patient testing, and operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment.
  • Provide mechanical ventilation, maintain artificial airways, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Provide patient education, monitor equipment and patient response to therapy, and complete documentation of in-patient and departmental records.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) CRT certification.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience preferred.
