About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in the assessment and treatment of patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician
  • Administer medical gases, aerosol therapy, and obtain and analyze blood specimens
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment
  • Provide mechanical ventilation, maintain artificial airways, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Provide patient education, monitor equipment and patient response to therapy, and complete documentation of in-patient and departmental records
