We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction. This will involve performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operating and maintaining respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, and providing patient education and support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians, including medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, and patient testing.
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
  • Provide patient education and support, including explaining treatment options and providing guidance on self-care.
  • Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care as an entry-level Care Practitioner.
  • Valid Missouri license.
  • BLS certification within 30 days.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
