Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians, including medical gas administration and aerosol therapy.
- Obtain and analyze blood specimens, perform patient testing, and operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment.
- Provide mechanical ventilation, maintain artificial airways, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Provide patient education and monitor equipment and patient response to therapy.
- Complete documentation of in-patient and departmental records, clean equipment, and maintain safety and infection control practices.
- Associate degree from an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care as an entry-level Care Practitioner.
- Valid Missouri license.
- BLS required within 30 days.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.
