Position Overview:
Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the bar is properly set up daily, including the requisition and stocking of beverages and supplies based on anticipated demand.
  • Maintain the quality of fresh ingredients by preparing, cutting, and storing garnishes and juices daily.
  • Welcome guests warmly, taking and documenting drink orders, and preparing beverages according to standard recipes while managing portion control.
  • Adhere to all regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Process orders through the point of sale system, creating checks for guests to maintain accountability.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all financial records are maintained correctly.
  • Secure all beverage and food items, depositing cash drops and ensuring the safety of the bank.
  • Comply with attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
  • Mathematical skills necessary for cash register operations and financial transactions.
  • Manual dexterity to handle garnishing, glassware, and other bar equipment.
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items effectively.
  • Proficiency in using point of sale systems.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
