We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to enhance our human resource functions, focusing on employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll management, and compliance with regulations. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving organizational change and fostering employee engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, including the DeMayo Cares Program.
  • Facilitate and oversee the new hire orientation process.
  • Address inquiries related to benefits, including enrollment, status updates, and general questions.
  • Manage the transition from post-offer to new hire, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Support change management efforts and communicate changes effectively.
  • Assist with the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Maintain employee electronic files and manage the processing of new hires, status changes, and terminations.
  • Support performance management activities, including evaluations for new hires.
  • Engage in project work such as documentation of procedures, employee recognition programs, and job description assessments.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Process payroll for all employees on a biweekly schedule.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is mandatory.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office and capable of learning various software applications; experience with Paylocity HRIS is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
