About the Role

The Proposal Manager plays a pivotal role in Webcor's dynamic sales and marketing team. As a Proposal Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead pursuits from start to finish, collaborating closely with various team members such as business development leads, proposal sponsors, senior operations personnel, client managers, and creative marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to determine the best approach for each project.
  • Manage and create proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials that effectively communicate Webcor's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to deliver high-quality content on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement proposal capture strategies to increase Webcor's chances of winning projects.
  • Lead proposal teams, overseeing content creation, layout design, and ensuring consistency in branding across all materials.
  • Write tailored technical and marketing content for clients, showcasing Webcor's expertise and capabilities.
  • Manage CRM tasks, including data entry and reporting, to maintain accurate records and inform business decisions.
  • Maintain marketing databases and information systems to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering results.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Marketing, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in marketing and construction, with a focus on proposal management. For Senior Proposal Manager, a minimum of six years' experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating compelling proposals that drive business results.
  • Understanding of construction, engineering, and architecture concepts to communicate effectively in proposals.
  • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding proposal teams to achieve business objectives.
