This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and facilitate proposal initiatives for our U.S. Federal Agency clientele.
- Lead strategic discussions and initial meetings for significant pursuits, ensuring that strategic win themes are effectively integrated throughout the proposal.
- Collaborate with team members in crafting various proposal sections, including Management, Personnel, Executive Summaries, and other necessary volumes.
- Manage the production and delivery of final proposals, ensuring alignment with all RFP specifications.
- Support the development and execution of interview processes from inception to completion.
- Participate in client capture planning alongside the Market Leader, Regional Business Development Leader, and key Technical Leads.
- Engage in the interview process to align proposal themes and messaging with insights gathered during the pre-positioning phase.
- Attend preparation and practice sessions for interviews, assisting the team with presentation skills and delivery.
- Lead and contribute to the successful creation of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals through effective teamwork.
- Organize and lead efficient proposal kick-off meetings and group status calls, ensuring adherence to the Proposal Development Plan.
- Guarantee compliance and high-quality content in final proposal submissions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Capture Managers and Technical Leaders.
- Confident demeanor with strategic thinking capabilities to assist teams in developing effective marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, along with strong negotiation, problem-solving, presentation, planning, and time management abilities.
- Adaptable and capable of meeting challenging deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Expertise in the proposal development process.
- Ability to engage team support to accomplish proposal tasks.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with A/E Proposals, including Standard Forms (SF330) and Brooks Act requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading the proposal process from pre-positioning through interviews, driving teams to develop compliant and competitive bids for engineering, construction, or professional services firms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign.
