Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Marketing to create materials such as qualifications, brochures, presentations, newsletters, proposals, award submissions, announcements, and reports.
  • Assist in the maintenance, distribution, and tracking of opportunities from lead distribution services.
  • Monitor and maintain business development opportunities and pursuits.
  • Draft non-technical content for marketing materials and pursuits.
  • Participate in preparations for client interviews and presentations.
  • Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), lead kick-off meetings, develop and manage proposal timelines, and coordinate contributions from proposal team members, including subconsultants.
  • Collect content from various writers and sources, editing to produce compelling copy with a consistent voice.
  • Write cover letters, firm capabilities, project descriptions, staff resumes, and other marketing and qualifications materials.
  • Coordinate business development materials including proposals, statements of qualifications, and letters of interest.
  • Create and update marketing collateral including brochures, cut sheets, and PowerPoint presentations using existing design templates and brand standards.
  • Engage in business development team meetings and other marketing projects as required.
  • Assist in conducting market and client research to support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Organize and archive resumes, project descriptions, and standard information.
  • Manage and collaborate on the production and packaging of all proposals with the publishing team.
  • Coordinate special projects and events as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
This Role May Be Ideal For You If You Possess:
  • A BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Experience in the Environmental/Architecture/Engineering/Construction sectors or other professional services industries is preferred.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, seeking assistance when needed while contributing positively to team culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), and other desktop publishing tools.
  • A detail-oriented approach with the capacity to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with a positive attitude, eager to tackle challenges and devise solutions.
