Job Summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Conference Planner to provide exceptional support for creating effective meetings and events. As the primary point of contact, you will manage the customer service process, receiving input and responding with a plan of action.

The Conference Services Manager will coordinate events of all types from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective planning and communication with all departments to meet customer needs.
  • Collaboration with leadership to present catering options and menus to customers.
  • Ensuring timely distribution of communication for upcoming business to the management team.
  • Working closely with the Audio Visual team to handle room set-ups, A.V. needs, and special requests.
  • Assisting management in analyzing operation aspects and reporting on any issues.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in hotel, corporate, or conference center settings.
  • Previous conference services management or supervisory experience.
  • Basic understanding of AV equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move conference furniture and equipment.
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, and strategizing skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
