Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering essential nursing services, which include:

  • Providing direct patient care and conducting health assessments.
  • Facilitating healthcare services in collaboration with nursing staff and other departments.
  • Maintaining regular communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Mentoring and orienting new staff members to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Leading therapeutic discussions and activities to promote patient well-being.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary care teams to share insights on patient conditions.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting any significant changes in patient status.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • A valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in Delaware or eligibility for certification.
Additional Information

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement and is subject to pre-employment drug testing and a criminal background check.
