About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Meridian Behavioral Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our organization's strategic initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the organization's ability to achieve its outcomes and strategic initiatives by providing organizational support to all departments and programs.
- Meet contracted outcomes and deliverables.
- Ensure that services center-wide are coordinated to provide the most effective and efficient care possible.
- Work closely with the SVP of Medical Services to ensure financial sustainability and excellent care in Medical services.
- Participate in developing external relationships with key stakeholders and payers.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop payer diversification.
- Take a leadership role in developing contracts with managed care plans and other 3rd party payers.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
- Ensure that administrative services are responsive and provide accurate information to patients and referral sources.
- Ensure that departmental dashboards are relevant, accurate, and accessible to managers and staff.
- Review contracts to ensure they advance our goals and objectives.
- Expand our capacity to use technology to support enhanced treatment services.
- Ensure facilities provide safe, comfortable spaces for individuals served and the workforce.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience in a related field required.
- Master's degree and independent clinical licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) in Florida preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in the behavioral health field in a managerial role.
