Job Title: Chief People Officer

Ascend Advanced Therapies is seeking a Chief People Officer to join our executive team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies that support our company's objectives and promote a high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in HR leadership, with experience in strategic planning, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. They will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Chief People Officer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals
  • Partnering with the executive team to provide strategic HR advice and support
  • Fostering a culture that matches Ascend's values
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Designing and overseeing recruitment strategies to attract top talent globally
    • Implementing effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires
    • Developing talent management and succession planning processes
  • Employee Engagement and Culture:
    • Creating initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
    • Promoting a positive and inclusive company culture
    • Implementing employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements
  • Performance Management:
    • Developing and managing performance appraisal systems that drive high performance
    • Providing guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues
    • Implementing training and development programs to upskill employees
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Designing competitive compensation and benefits packages
    • Ensuring compliance with local and international labor laws
    • Conducting regular market analysis to maintain a competitive edge
  • HR Operations:
    • Overseeing HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance
    • Implementing and managing HR systems and processes
    • Ensuring accurate HR data management and reporting
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Leading DEI initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace
