Role Overview:

The position of Customer Service Agent is essential to our operations. The successful candidate will be stationed in Crescent City, CA, and will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by managing inquiries, reservations, ticketing, passenger check-in, baggage handling, and resolving issues for all Advanced Air passengers and potential guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist all customers and guests of Advanced Air with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Respond to phone inquiries, providing information, resolving issues, and offering assistance as needed.
  • Manage all facets of reservations, ticketing, check-in, seat assignments, passenger boarding, and baggage services.
  • Process payments for tickets using cash, checks, credit cards, and travel vouchers.
  • Communicate with customers regarding flight delays or cancellations and assist with re-accommodations in line with company policies.
  • Provide accurate information on fares, schedules, gates, and flight statuses, addressing general inquiries both in-person and via phone.
  • Assist with check-in processes, ticket modifications, itinerary re-bookings, and special service requests.
  • Oversee passenger boarding and deplaning, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA regulations regarding passenger firearms and assist as necessary.
  • Prepare aircraft for flights, including stocking food and beverages and performing light cleaning duties.
  • Uphold Advanced Air's brand standards and ensure consistency in the ground experience.
  • Maintain positive customer relations through effective multitasking and sound judgment.
  • Ensure the accuracy of passenger manifests using Jet Insight.
  • Adhere to FAA, TSA, airline, and airport regulations at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • A valid Driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Special Requirements:
  • May need to obtain a Secured Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge for certain airports.
  • Must be able to handle ground service equipment weighing approximately 5,000 lbs.
  • Compliance with all local airport and TSA requirements is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Must pass FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks, and random drug tests as necessary.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this role include frequent sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional walking and handling of objects. Employees may need to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

Employees may work outdoors on an aircraft ramp in varying temperatures and conditions, with exposure to loud noise from aircraft.
