Job Overview

Position: Maintenance Technician I

Location: Onsite

Compensation: $26-28 per hour

Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

Contract Duration: Potential for permanent placement

Shift: 2nd Shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute equipment change-overs as per production schedules or supervisor directives.
  • Read and interpret technical documents including blueprints and equipment manuals.
  • Assist in documenting preventive maintenance and operational procedures.
  • Set up and operate necessary machinery for assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate and support external repair personnel in fulfilling their service agreements.
  • Coordinate with testing technicians to ensure timely task completion related to production machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage inventory of spare parts, providing necessary information for procurement.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring a strong presence on the production floor.
  • Collaborate effectively with both production and maintenance teams to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:Basic Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
  • Experience in electromechanical repair and automation within the medical sector.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical repairs and field service.
  • Familiarity with structured preventive maintenance systems.
  • Experience in organizations adhering to ISO, FDA, or similar quality standards.
Competencies:
  • Proficient in using software applications such as spreadsheets and databases.
  • Understanding of formal preventive maintenance protocols.
