Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Position: Maintenance Technician I
Location: Onsite
Compensation: $26-28 per hour
Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
Contract Duration: Potential for permanent placement
Shift: 2nd Shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:- Execute equipment change-overs as per production schedules or supervisor directives.
- Read and interpret technical documents including blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Assist in documenting preventive maintenance and operational procedures.
- Set up and operate necessary machinery for assigned tasks.
- Facilitate and support external repair personnel in fulfilling their service agreements.
- Coordinate with testing technicians to ensure timely task completion related to production machinery.
- Maintain accurate records and manage inventory of spare parts, providing necessary information for procurement.
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring a strong presence on the production floor.
- Collaborate effectively with both production and maintenance teams to meet operational goals.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Technical certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields.
- Experience in electromechanical repair and automation within the medical sector.
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
- Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical repairs and field service.
- Familiarity with structured preventive maintenance systems.
- Experience in organizations adhering to ISO, FDA, or similar quality standards.
- Proficient in using software applications such as spreadsheets and databases.
- Understanding of formal preventive maintenance protocols.
