Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to work in our before and after care program for the 2024/25 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct supervision of children on site, organizing and planning activities, cleaning, and working with a team of coworkers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for children in a school facility setting
  • Observe and monitor children's activities
  • Ensure constant safety and security of children under the program's care
  • Organize and participate in planned age-appropriate activities
  • Delegate tasks to staff members
  • Complete written documentation and forms in a prompt fashion
  • Remain in close communication with the Child Care Manager and Program Coordinators
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have prior experience working with children
  • First Aid/CPR or willingness to be trained
  • Ability to stay constantly alert and anticipate problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children and their parents
