Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any changes or abnormalities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhages.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
