We are seeking a skilled Maternal Child Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Maternal Child Float Pool, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
- Labor and Deliver OR NICU Experience
