This senior service representative plays a pivotal role in the patient care continuum, engaging patients and referring providers through various forms of communication.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling complex appointments, ensuring patients are seen by the right provider at the right time with all necessary records. As the primary point of contact, they will coordinate single or multiple appointments, advocate for patients, and provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers in accessing medical services.

  • Schedules appointments to the correct provider, coordinating on the same day when available.
  • Communicates managed care processes to patients, reviews financial obligations, and educates on authorizations as needed.
  • Coordinates multi-visit scheduling appointments, advocating for patients and families while resolving conflicts.
  • Documents requests accurately and investigates problems, referring or resolving as appropriate.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this role may require other duties assigned by management.

**Salary Range:** $17.31 - $26.83 per hour

**Minimum Requirements:*

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience; Access Associates fully cross-trained to cover multiple specialties considered in lieu of 2 years of experience.
  • No licensure required.
