Classified Cybersecurity Systems Protection Specialists play a crucial role in safeguarding essential products and advanced engineering and manufacturing systems by implementing state-of-the-art cybersecurity methodologies.

The chosen candidate will join the Space - Security & Emergency Services division, serving as a Cybersecurity Systems Protection Specialist, contributing to various classified projects as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily information system security operations, including hardware and software deployments.
  • Execute technical management of information systems in alignment with internal security protocols and customer requirements, primarily following the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Maintain, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security incidents.
  • Record compliance actions within the designated automated compliance tracking system or collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to formulate a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) to address any noncompliance within the specified timeframe.
  • Ensure that systems are operated, maintained, and decommissioned in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Auditing constitutes a significant aspect of this role's responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to secure SCI access.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
  • Experience in information systems auditing.
  • Familiarity with operating system security requirements.
  • Practical experience with industry-standard Information Assurance tools.
Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency with RMF.
  • Knowledge of Security Directives, Policies, Publications, and Regulations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position mandates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Pay Rate:


The annual base salary range for this position in specific states is $85,900 - $164,600. This salary information serves as a general guideline.
