Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead large projects or multiple project efforts, including subcontractors, high-dollar value material content, and multiple resources. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Develop and communicate a clear understanding of the client's project goals and maintain the company's alignment to these goals.
  • Lead proposal development, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
  • Manage client communication, ensuring effective communication between the client, project team, business development, and management team.
  • Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports, forecasting monthly project costs and avoiding cost overruns.
  • Lead the project team in achieving project tasks and milestones on schedule and under budget.
Requirements:
  • BS Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience background.
  • 5+ years in project engineering environment with at least 3 years of dedicated project management experience.
  • Proficient in project management principles, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to implement Project Management Institute (PMI) based standards.
  • Experience managing contracts and/or subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with industrial controls projects.
  • Experience with project budget/fiscal accountability.
